Motorbike Trip in Argentina – In the tracks of Che Guevara
Buenos Aires – Estancia Dos Talas – Bahia Blanca – Neuquen – San Martin de los Andes – -Bariloche -Buenos Aires
Day 1: Buenos Aires Arrival in Buenos Aires. Private transfer to hotel. Lodging in Hotel Casasur Art Hotel in superior room. Day 2: Buenos Aires Day at leisure to enjoy the city. Lodging. Breakfast, (B). Day 3: Buenos Aires – Dos Talas (220km) We receive the bikes this morning, BMW 650 or similar. We drive for approximately 3 hours across the pampas to Dolores. Arrival at Estancia Dos Talas and enjoy a wonderful asado lunch with the best argentine meat. In the afternoon, we recommend to make a short visit on the bikes to the town of Dolores. There is a nice gaucho museum, and other interesting things to see. Return to the estancia. Lodging. B, Lunch (L), Dinner (D). Day 4: Estancia Dos Talas – Bahia Blanca (570 km) This will be a long day on the bike, between six to seven hours riding. Most of the way will be on the Ruta 74 and 3. We will provide maps and all the necessary information in Buenos Aires. Arrival in Bahia Blanca and lodging at Hotel Land Plaza or similar category. B. Day 5: Bahia Blanca – Neuquen (524 km) Again this will be a long day driving, about 6 hours, through the incredible immensity of the open pampas. Arrival in Neuquen and lodging at Hotel Valle Perdido. B. Day 6: In Neuquen Day to relax and enjoy the area and the hotel. There are several wineries around the hotel that can be visited. On the other hand, there is an interesting museum of Dinosaurs some 40km from the hotel that could be good to explore with the bikes. The hotel has a spa and a swimming pool, so you relaxing after two days of exhilirating rides on the bikes. Lodging. B. Day 7: Neuquen – San Martin de los Andes (420 km) Todays’s ride sees a complete change of scenery as you ride through the Argentine lake district on a great road for bikers with some big, long turns. Arrival and lodging at the beautiful Hotel Rio Hermoso, located 25km from the centre of San Martin de los Andes in an unique location by the river. B. Day 8: San Martin de los Andes Day at leisure to enjoy the area. This day we recommend visiting with the bikes the Parque Nacional Lanin, which is the highlight of the area. Also in the hotel you can have a massage (optional extra). B. Day 9: San Martin de los Andes – Bariloche (160km) This will be a beautiful day for riding. You will take the famous Seven Lakes Road from San Martin de los Andes to Bariloche. You will want to make several stops on the way for pictures, so it might take the whole day to get to Bariloche. Arrival and lodging at Hotel del Casco. B. Day 10: Bariloche Day at leisure to enjoy the area. This day we recommend taking the bikes round the Llao Llao Peninsula and then up the Catedral Mountain to get stunning views. The hotel also has a health club and spa. B. Day 11: Bariloche -Buenos Aires Today we drop off the bikes in the centre of Bariloche and fly back to Buenos Aires. On arrival at the local airport you will be met and taken to the hotel. Lodging in Casasur. B. Day 12: Buenos Aires – Europe Day at leisure until its time to be transferred to international airport.
