8 Days Multi Adventure in Mendoza and the Argentine mid-west
Walking, Horse Riding, White Water Rafting, Cycling. This is a great adventure and a fantastic way to see this part of Argentina

Day 1: Arrival in Mendoza.
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle. Overnight in Mendoza, in the Huentala Boutique Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Biking amongst the vineyards. B. L.
You will leave Mendoza city and head to Chacras de Coria, a small village surrounded by vineyards. Before starting the trip there will be a security talk from the guides. We will visit two different wineries and MUCHA (Chacras de Coria museum), where they will show the winemaking process and you can taste the results! This is a regular shared (SIB) excursion. Included: Bike, helmet, bilingual guide, mineral water, cereal bars, visit to the wineries, lunch at a winery. Overnight in Mendoza, in the Huentala Boutique Hotel or similar.

Day 3: Mountain Horseback Ride in Portezuelo. B. L.
Leaving Mendoza city and you will be taken to our base, located in Blanco Encalada, only 35 minutes away from the city. The view is amazing as it is 1400 metres above sea level. Once at the base the guides will give a security instruction regarding the safest way to enjoy this adventure. Then we will start our journey through the Mendocinian foothills (pedemonte) and mountains, beofe returning for typical Argentiune asado (barbecue) lunch. In the afternoon, after a rest, the ride continues. This is a regular shared (SIB) excursion. Included: Transfers, regional breakfast, bilingual guide and asado lunch. Recommended: You should wear comfortable clothes, long pants, raincoat and sun screen. Overnight in Mendoza, in the Huentala Boutique Hotel or similar.

Day 4: Trek Mogote San Martín. B. L.
Starting from the same point as on day 3, you will trek up the Cerro Negro, some 2100 metres above sea level. The climb takes around two hours and there are fantastic views of the Mendoza River, the Cordon del Plata mountain range, the Tupungato Volcano and the city of Mendoza. Lunch at the summit, before continuing on to the Mogote San Martín peak (2300m). This is a regular shared (SIB) excursion. Included: Transfers, box lunch, bilingual guide. Recommended: You should wear comfortable clothes, long pants, raincoat and sun screen. Overnight in Mendoza, in the Huentala Boutique Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Rafting. B. L..
You will leave Mendoza and head to Potrerillo, a beautiful area in the middle of the High Andes. Each passenger will have his own neoprene suit, life vest and helmet. After a security instruction you will go into the river to start the adventure. The great white waters of Mendoza River guarantee the fun of the day. This is a regular shared (SIB) excursion. Included: Transfers, bilingual guide, special equipment, safety kayak and neoprene, lunch. Recomended: Take change of clothing and sunscreen. Overnight in Mendoza, in the Huentala Boutique Hotel or similar.

Day 6: Half day mountain bike ride and transfer to San Juan. B. S.
There are two different tracks to choose from, one for beginners and one for intermediates/advanced. This is a private excursion. Included: Transfers, bike, helmet, bilingual guide, water and snacks. Recommended: You should wear comfortable clothes, long pants, raincoat and sun screen. On return to Mendoza you will be taken to the bus terminal for to catch the bus to the city of San Juan. On arrival, yo will be met and taken to the hotel. Overnight in San Juan, in the Alkazar Hotel or similar.

Day 7: Biking in the Moon Valley. B. L.
Today you will have a full day excursion to the Valley of the Moon, in the Ischigualasto National park. This is a private excursion. Includes entrance fee and all necessary equipment, and a box lunch.
Overnight in Valle Fertil, in the Hostería Valle Fertil or similar.

Day 8: Biking in Talampaya. Trip Ends. B. L.
Today you will have a full day excursion to the stunning Talampaya National Park, in the Ischigualasto National park. This is a private excursion. Includes entrance fee and all necessary equipment, and a box lunch. The trip ends with a transfer to San Juan airport or bus terminal.

Included:
7 nights accommodation in the above mentioned hotels (or similar ones should they not be available) in a standard double room.
Transfers and excursions in private or regular basis as specified in itinerary.
Meals detailled in the programme (B: breakfast; S: Snack; L: lunch; D: dinner).
