Day 01. Curitiba, Paranaguá & Guaraqueçaba
Early transfer from Curitiba to Paranaguá. At the historical city of Paranaguá, we board a boat to Guaraqueçaba, an historical village located at Paranaguá and Laranjeiras Bay, with one of the most preserved Atlantic Rainforest areas within Brazil. On the way we’ll have the chance to observe dolphin’s around Peças Island and mangroves Ecologic Reserve.
Arrival in Guaraqueçaba, visit to the Historical Center, Local Cooperative Handmade Artcrafts and IBAMA’s Visitors Centre. Typical lunch before we head to the RPPN Salto do Morato, where we start an interpretative walk through the Atlantic Rain Forest, its Fauna and Flora until the Morato Waterfall – 75 meters high. We also visit the natural aquarium (4 meters deep of clean and crystal water) before go back to Guaraqueçaba.

Day 02. Guaraqueçaba, Sebui Natural Reserve & Superagui National Park
After breakfast we head to the RPPN (Private Reserve of Natural Patrimony) Sebuí, navigating through channels among mangroves swamps. Lunch and walk to explore the natural waterfalls of these protected area.
At sunset we’ll navigate to the islands of Pinheiro and Pinheirinho to observe the flight of the endemic red-tailed amazon parrot Papagaio Chaua (Amazona brasiliensis), returning to this islands, and then continuing to Superagui, our next destination.

Day 03. Superagui & Ilha do Mel
Breakfast at Barra do Superagui, part of Superagui National Park, the largest continuous stretch of intact Atlantic Rainforest. Superagui National Park is a core area of the Atlantic Forest Southeast Reserves World Heritage Site and is one of the most important protected areas within this Brazilian hotspot.
We go for a hike to the “desert beach”, where there are more than 40 km of sandy beaches, and then participate with activities of fishing and local canoe riding with the local people.
After lunch, we leave by boat to Ilha do Mel. It’s a place fulfilled with the magic of the nature.
Walk to the lighthouse during the sunset to watch the sunset with the best view of the island area.

Day 04. Ilha do Mel & Morretes
Time to participate in traditional fishing activities with the local community in the beaches of Brasilia, Encantadas, Praia de Fora, Praia do Farol and Praia Grande.
In the afternoon we ride back on the boat to Pontal do Sul and then catch a van to the historical town of Morretes where we’ll stay for two nights. Accommodation at the lodge in Morretes.

Day 05. Morretes
Day trekking to the Itupava Colonial Trail, an historical trail built by the local indigenous people in the middle of the Atlantic Rain Forest. It was the first access trail from the Coast to the Plateau – Curitiba.
Lunch at the Nhundiaquara Sanctuary Lodge.
We will spend the day relaxing at the lodge or doing activities around the Nhundiaquara River.

Day 06. Morretes, Antonina & Curitiba
Visit to the historical center of Antonina and Antonina Bay. Typical lunch in Antonina (seafood) and board the train for an incredible ride across the Atlantic rainforest to Marumbi Peak Station and then Curitiba. The ''Serra Verde Express'' is one of Brazil's most famous train rides. Beautiful rainforests, rivers and superb mountain scenery make for an exciting and spectacular journey along this magnificent old railway. Arrival in Curitiba and our journey’s end.
