| 22 day The Heart of the Yukon Tour | |
| The Wind River is renowned for its remote beauty, hiking and white-water for the intermediate canoeist. The headwaters of the Wind are only accessible by floatplane, and the legendary Beaver Otter aircraft takes us through the spectacular Bonnet Plume Range of the northern Yukon into McClusky Lake. It is here that you are about to start a challenging journey down this clear and narrow river. With alpine campsites alongside the river, easy hikes, many panoramic vistas are guaranteed. Seeing grizzly, wolf, caribou, and moose are just a few of the wildlife you may get to see on this fabulous journey and adventure | |

The Wind River Valley is home of wilderness-dependent animals such as wolfs, grizzlies and wolverines. The rich habitat supports healthy populations of woodland caribou, moose and dall sheep.
