Day 01 Arrival in Seoul.
Arrive in Seoul at Inchoen International Airport, where you will be met by the representative and transfered to your hotel.
Day 02 Seoul / Seoul City Tour, Korean Folk Village / Seoul.
After breakfast, start a morning tour of the city of Seoul, including Gyeongbok Palace-the main palace during the Chosun Dynasty-via the Blue House (Presidential Residence), the National Folk Museum and Seoul Tower on Mt. Namsan for a birds eye view of Metropolitan city of Seoul. An afternoon excursion to the Korean Folk Village outside of Seoul, where the old traditional style houses and life style of 18th-19th century are being practiced by people living in the village. It is a MUST place to visit for first comes to Korea to learn Korean culture.
Return to Seoul. Overnight in Seoul.
Day 03 Seoul / Gangwhado Island / Seoul.
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Gangwha-do Island by an hour drive for visiting International Meditation Center where monks from the other countries studying Korean Buddhism in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Here you will have a chance to listen to the monks sharing their experience in Korean Buddhism with you in English. Afternoon, you will visit Kwangsungbo Fortress and Gangwha History Hall Transfer back to Seoul
Day 04 Seoul / Gongju / Jeonju.
Breakfast at hotel. Checkout and transfer to Gongju for a visit to Songsari Tombs where the Tomb of King Muryong is enshrined. Gongju was the capital city of Baekje Dynasty and the city is proud of Gongju Museum showing you the masterpieces of Baekje Art.
Transfer to Jeonju for overnight stay
Day 05 Jeonju / Gwangju.
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Mt. Maisan for a visit to Tapsa Temple. On the Mt. Maisan, chinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, stand mysterious stone pagodas whose year of origin is unknown. Originally 120 pagodas existed, but now only a little more than 80 remain. Then proceed to Paper Factory where the Korean Traditional Paper-Hanji is still being made by traditional way.
Transfer to Gwangju for overnight stay.
Day 06 Gwangju / Boseong / Jinju.
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Unjusa Temple for The Mystery of Chonbulchontap. Unjusa Temple in Hwasun, Chollanam-do is the setting of the legend of Doseonguksa, a Buddhist monk of the Shilla Kingdom, who is believed to have constructed 1,000 Stone Buddha statues and stone pagodas in one night. His creation, Chonbulchontap, has dwindled to 93 stone Buddha statues and 21 stone pagodas. The Buddha statues ranged from one huge statue 10m height to one only 10cm high. The 21 stone pagodas stand in a row along the mountainside. The temple bestows an aura of simplicity and intimacy among its worshippers. Transfer to Bosung Green Tea Garden where the best green tea is being cultivated in beautiful landscape.
Transfer to Jinju for overnight stay
Day 07 Jinju / Haeinsa Temple / Gyeongju.
After breakfast, transfer to Gayasan National Park via expressway. Upon arrival in Gayasan National Park, visit Haeinsa Temple, which has a world famous Korean cultural treasure called Tripikata Koreana, made during the Goryo Dynasty to protect the country by Buddhas power from the invasion of Mongolian troops. This Tripikata Koreana was designated by UNESCO as World Heritage. Proceed to Gyeongju. Upon arrival in Gyeongju, an afternoon tour of Gyeongju includes Royal Tumuli Park and National Gyeongju Museum.
Overnight in Gyeongju.
Day 08 Gyeongju.
Breakfast at hotel. Today’s main attraction is Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto for half day. In the afternoon, enjoy scenic drive to Guryongpo Port via East Coast for the most refreshing scenery along the sea. Some photo stops will be arranged on the way.
Return to Gyeongju.
Day 09 Gyeongju/ Train to Seoul.
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to train station in Gyeongju for transfer by express train to Seoul. Upon arrival, visit Hwagyesa Temple for meditation class and lunch in the temple. Afternoon shopping Itaewon street and Namdaemun Market open 24hours.
Check-in to hotel.
Day 10 Seoul.
Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure in Seoul.
Day 11 Seoul / Departure.
Breakfast at hotel. Free until departure
