Saturday : Marrakech. Arrival at Marrakech Menara airport, welcome and assistance. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner and accommodation. Sunday : Marrakech. The entire day will be devoted to visit of Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, called “The Pearl of the South”. The historical sightseeing includes the Menara Garden, the Saadien Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Said Museum. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon: Visit of the souks and handicraft quarters, displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemaa El Fna with its non stop entertainment. Typical dinner at Moroccan restaurant with entertainment (belly dancer and local music) Accommodation. Monday: Marrakech – Cascades d’Ouzoud - Afourar (250km). Departure by Motorcoach to the Cascades d'Ouzoud, the most famous waterfalls in Morocco, the area is quite impressive with a total 100 meters fall. Lunch on the spot. PM : Departure to reach the famous lake of Bin El Ouidane, you will drive through magnificent mountain roads surrounded by holm oaks going along the oueds (rivers) then on to Afourar. Diner and accommodation at hotel. Tuesday : Afourar-Kelâa M’Gouna- Tinghir (230km). Breakfast at hotel. We will cross the Middle Atlas to reach a splendid small town of Kelâa Me Gouna, an oasis in the Dades valley well known for its yearly festival of Roses in May from where the the alternative name of the area comes from “ the Valley of the Roses”. Lunch on the spot. Then we continue by the new and just opened tarred road to Tinghir, famous for its magnificent Todra canyons which rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Tineghir. Wednesday : Tinghir – Erfoud. Breakfast at hotel Departure to Erfoud via Errachidia, the administrative capital for the region, located between the Middle Atlas mountains to the north and the Sahara Desert to the south. Lunch at Erfoud. PM : visit of Rissani, the birthplace of the actual Alaouites Dynasty. Optional : Excursion by Jeeps to Merzouga sandy dunes to admire the fabulous sunset. Back at the end of the afternoon at your hotel. Dinner and accommodation. Thursday : Erfoud – Zagora ( 250 Km). Breakfast at hotel Departure Zagora via Alnif and Tazzarine, crossing the Djebel Sargho. Lunch at N’Kob. Arrival at Zagora excursion (optional) to Tamegroute, visit of the famous library containing old books and documents dating back to the 12th century. After visit, return to the hotel in Zagora. Dinner and accommodation. Friday: Zagora - Ouarzazate – Marrakech (370km). After breakfast, departure to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, the "gateway of the desert" with its strategic position at the crossroads of Marrakech and Agadir. Orientation tour and stop at Kabshah Taourirt for visit and continue to Ksar Ait Benhaddou situated on the south foot of the Atlas mountain chain. Founded in the XI century, the Ksar Aït Benhaddou is on the UNESCO list of World Culture Heritage. Lunch on the spot. Departure to Marrakech. Free time. Dinner and accommodation. Typical dinner under Caidal tents at the famous "Chez Ali" restaurant, enhanced by the performance of several folkloric troupes representing different regions. Saturday : Marrakech – Departure Transfer to the Marrakech airport. Assistance with departure formalities.
