8 Days Trekking in Toubkal Mountain and Valley. Morocco

The Toubkal Mountain is one of the highest peaks in North Africa. Very close to Marrakech and accessible only on foot.  You will really enjoy the hidden villages and fruitful valleys. The summer heat is lowered by the altitude. Tours Available from May to Sept
Services This tour is on full board basis starting with dinner of the first day and ending with breakfast of the last day, except in Marakech where it is half board

trekking in toubkal mountains resting in the mountains
Day 1 : Arrival Arrival to the airport of Marrakech, assistance and transfer to your hotel, then dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Marrakech-Imi Oughlad-Tizi Oussem (5 hours of walk) We will start our excursion in a forest of green oaks to reach the pass of Tizi Tacht which is at 200 m. overnight in lodging.

Day 3 : Tizi Oussem-Tazaghart (6 hours of walk) We go up the valley of Handour by small throasts and oases of palms. The trail crosses the river, of channels of irrigations and small villages. Night in IRazzoun.

Day 4 : Tazaghart – Toubkal (4 to 5 hours of walk) We will ascend up to 3600 m to admire a superb sight on the mountain of Toubkal. Then we will go down to the refuge of Toubkal to 3207 m.

Day 5 : Climb of Toubkal (5 to 6 hours of walk) Easy climb of Toubkal with 4165m, the highest summit of North Africa. This summit offers a gorgeous view on the mountain of Siroua and the valley of Imlil (this climb is optional). Overnight in refuge.

Day 6 : Toubkal-Sidi Chmaharouch- Armed (3 hours of walk) Descent to the village of Armed (1850 m) via the Marabout of the valley called Sidi Chamharouch. Overnight in lodging.

Day 7 : Armed-Marrakech We will join Imlil on foot, before going back to Marrakech by mini van. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Departure. Break fast at hotel, transfer to Marrakech airport, and assistance for all formalities of check-in.
